The Six Wives of King Henry VIII

 

 

 

Catherine of Aragon is the first wife of Henry the VIII. She’s King Arthur’s widow the brother of Henry VIII. Henry wanted to have a son withher, but Catherine can’t give him a son. Believing this King Henry cancelled the wedding.




 

 

 

Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII.  She got executed by Henry on 1536. People think that she is a bad person and committed adultery with others.




 

 

 

Jane Seymour, the third wife of Henry VIII.  Henry married her after the day of Ann Boleyn’s execution. King Edward is the son of her and she died after giving birth to Henry.


 

 

 

Anne of Cleves, the fourth wife of Henry VIII. Hans Holbein portrait her looking different than she really looks like. Henry decides to marry her. After when they really marry, Henry found out she was not beautiful.


 

 

 

Catherine Howard, the fifth wife of Henry VIII. She was not pregnant upon marriage and was repulsed by her husband's body size.


 

 

 

Catherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII.  After 4 years, Henry died. She was not accused of anything.
